Welcome to the
What If You Could Live 400 Years? Game
Relax and stretch your imagination as you play this game—it's all purely hypothetical, of course? Nothing to optimize. Nothing to fix. Just using your imagination.
Close your eyes for a moment and imagine this: You’re going to live for 400 years.
Not in a science-fiction, half-robot way—but as a fully human, happy, healthy, clear-minded version of yourself. Everyone else is healthy too. People cooperate. The planet is clean, peaceful, and thriving. No dystopias allowed. This is a well-run Earth.
Now ask yourself—very gently—what changes?
1-Where Do You Live?
If you’re living for 400 years, chances are you’re not choosing your home based solely on commute time.
Do you live near the ocean? In a forest? A walkable village? A quiet city designed for humans instead of traffic? On an island suspended in mid-air? Maybe you move every 50 years—because why not? With that much time, curiosity becomes a lifestyle.
You might even choose places that support your nervous system, not just your Wi-Fi.
INSTRUCTIONS: The response/submission form is located at the bottom of the page. If you would like some ideas, read each section, then type your answers in the form. When you finish answering, click the "Submit My Responses" button. That's it!
For fun, you'll receive an email containing the responses we gather. Please note: your responses are shared, anonymously, with the other players. However, we keep your name and email address confidential and they will never be shared.
First: Panic (Briefly)
Let’s be honest. The first response for most of us is mild panic. "Four hundred years? I can barely decide what to eat for dinner."
But after the initial “Wait…what?” fades, something interesting happens. The urgency dissolves. The frantic pace loosens its grip. Suddenly, there’s room to think beyond next week, next year, or even retirement.
So, here we go! Remember to use your wildest imagination and answer each question as if you're living in the future 400 years from now!
2-How Do You Spend Your Days?
If you have centuries ahead of you, the idea of “hustling” suddenly feels… quaint.
You might work, yes—but probably not in the same way for 40 years straight. You could apprentice, master something, then release it. Learn music for 30 years. Study healing. Build something beautiful. Rest. Wander. Begin again.
You’d likely pace yourself—not because you’re lazy, but because you’re playing the long game.
3-What Do You Do for Fun?
When time expands, amusement changes.
Entertainment might shift from constant stimulation to deeper pleasure: creating, exploring, laughing with people you’ve known for decades. You might actually get very good at leisure.
Hobbies stop being “side” projects and start becoming full chapters of life.
4-How Do You Move Your Body?
If your body is meant to last centuries, you probably stop abusing it.
Exercise becomes less about punishment and more about longevity, joy, and movement that keeps you curious. Walking. Swimming. Dancing. Strength that supports your bones and balance that keeps you playful at 180.
You’d move not to burn calories—but to stay in relationship with your body.
5-What Do You Eat and How Is It Prepared?
With 400 years ahead, food becomes a form of respect and preparing it an art.
You’d likely eat to nourish—not to numb, rush, or reward yourself for surviving the day. Meals would be slower. Ingredients cleaner. Pleasure intentional.
You might choose to prepare food using AI or choose to prepare it yourself, just because you enjoy it—not because you have to.
6-How Do You Educate and Raise Your Children? (If you do not have children, skip this section.)
This one changes everything.
If life is long and stable, children grow up without the background hum of urgency. They’re not rushed into adulthood or pressured to “figure it all out” by 25.
Education becomes exploration. Parenting becomes presence. And wisdom is something you actually have time to pass on.
7-How Do You Look and Feel?
Here’s the quiet surprise: In this imagined future, you may or may not look “young.” The choice is yours.
You may look healthy, vibrant, glowing and feel energetic, motivated and happy.
Clear eyes. Calm posture. A body that moves easily. A face shaped by laughter instead of stress. You feel at home in yourself—because you’ve stopped fighting time and started cooperating with it.
8-What Do Your Surroundings Look Like?
Your environment matters when you’re planning to stick around. Think outside the box. What are the materials used to build homes and buildings. Are there parks, stadiums, convention centers, gardens, or unique ecosystem habitats? How do the forests, bodies of water, mountains and the land around you look? What about the clouds, the sky and the the sun...how are they different?
Homes are designed for beauty and longevity. Cities include nature. Noise is considered a health issue. The planet is treated like a shared inheritance, not a resource to exhaust.
The future feels… breathable.
9-How and Where Do You Travel ?
With less rush and more intention, travel becomes meaningful again. You go places to learn, connect, and appreciate—not just to escape. What means do you use to travel...hover car, spaceship, teleportation, time jumping...let your imagination guide your answer? Where do you go...to the moon, another planet, or do you sometimes just take a joy ride through the universe.
10-How Do You Communicate with Others?
Communication is slower, clearer, and kinder. With centuries ahead, there’s very little need to shout.
Do you need a device to communicate, do you use telepathy, is there some other "yet to be discovered" way that you communicate?.
Type your responses in this form and click "Submit My Responses" button when complete.
Thank you for playing this game with us!
Why This Thought Experiment Matters
Here’s the real question:
If you were going to live for 400 years…What would you start changing now?
How would you treat your body today?
What would you stop rushing?
What would you stop tolerating?
What would you start nurturing?
You don’t need 400 years to benefit from this perspective. You just need to imagine life as something you’re staying with, not something you’re racing through.
So consider this your gentle invitation: Live today as if you plan to be here for a long, beautiful while.
Because who knows? Your body just might already be listening!!!
